Pink & Purple Bonjour




Time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS 
Challenge #167 - Pink And Purple
Susan is our Hostess With The Mostest! 

To make my card, I used the Simon Says Stamp Circular Lace stencil with Spun Sugar (pink) and Seedless Preserves (purple) Distress Oxide Ink. I stamped the sentiment from Heffy Doodle's Hello Everyone stamp set using SU Elegant Eggplant (purple) ink onto a piece of white cardstock, cut it out with the matching die and adhered it to the card.

Happy Birthday



It's time for a new challenge at Less Is More. This time the theme is: Metallics. Just remember that there must be lots of clean white space on your card.

For my first card, I masked some space toward the bottom of the card base and randomly stamped the gears from Stampendous Guys and Gears stamp set using Delicata Golden Glitz, Silvery Shimmer and Celestial Copper metallic inks. I removed the masks and added a strip of gold foiled cardstock to the top and bottom of the stamped area. I added a sentiment from the same stamp set and my card was complete.

For my second card, I used Bo Bunny silver and gold glitter paste with the Winnie and Walter Scenery: Big Bang Classic Star Creative Screenings stencil, and added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp Seeing Stars Stamp set.

Let's Celebrate




Time Out Challenge #143 is up and running. This time, we are challenged to be inspired by the words: "It takes both rain and sunshine to make a rainbow". Our wonderful sponsor is Winnie and Walter. Challenge winner will receive a $25.00 gift voucher for the Winnie and Walter store.

To create my card, I concentrated on the word rainbow. I painted rainbow colors on a piece of watercolor card stock, die cut it with a die from Winnie and Walter's Goldie Trim Cutaways, and mounted it on a piece of linen cardstock die cut with a Lawn Fawn scalloped rectangle die. To finish it off. To complete it, I added a sentiment from Winnie and Walter's The Party

Sparkle This Christmas

To make my card, I chose one of the snowflakes from Gina K Designs Mini Wreath Builder Template Stencil and used the very luscious Bo Bunny Rose Gold Glitter Paste to emboss it. I added a sentiment from Happy Little Stampers Let It Snow stamp set.

For my first card, I masked a rectangle using a stencil from A Colorful Life Designs Marvelous Masks Rectangles. I placed the Simon Says Stamp Circular Lace stencil in the aperture, and sprayed with three shades of pink Color Shine Spray from Heidi Swapp. I then stamped the sentiment from Concord and 9th's Being Classy stamp set in VersaFine Onyx Black ink.

For my second card, I stenciled these wonderful crabs with Carta Bella's Crab Crawl stencil using three shades of Distress Oxide ink. I could have sworn I had a sentiment somewhere that said "Im sorry I was crabby". I spent an inordinate amount of time digging through my out of control stash for that stamp to no avail. I thought this sentiment from Ranger Dylusions Quote Bubble set was perfect.

I stamped images from sponsor's Party Girl set on Bristol paper. Her dress and shoes are colored with Zigs. I fussy cut the image and glued it on to a vellum pink sunburst piece of card stock that was die cut with Lawn Fawn's Scalopped rectangles. The sentiment is from Concord & 9th's Being Classy stamp set.

Wishing You Oceans Of Joy



Time for a new challenge at Addicted To CAS where the Code Word is BUBBLE. I am the Hostess With The Mostest! Our wonderful Guest Designer is the incredibly talented Joyce Mehrberg. Joyce is a wonderful card artist, a long-time blogging friend of mine, and a Design Teammate at Time Out as well. I would love to have a visit and a cuppa with her. Her art is wonderful and her heart is dear. Please take a stroll through her blog and leave her some love. You are sure to be inspired.

To make my card, I used Hero Arts Color Layering Seahorse stamps and dies. The bubbles are from the Sea Bubbles Set from Designs By Ryn. I LOVE that bubble stamp and it was the inspiration for my choice of code word for this challenge.
