A Happy Halloween

I Have these wonderful prints on fabric from Crafty Secrets that I have had in my stash forever. I recently used one for a card for the current Time Out Challente (Vintage), and now I am thinking of ways to use them in time to get Halloween Cards out. This is something I say I am going to do every year, and usually don't.

I used Jaydee's sketch from The Paper Players #PP663 as my design inspiration.

Hopefully I will get more of these done this week and in the mail to my favorite goblins and Halloween lovers!

Less Is More #477 starts today and runs through November 17th. This time is it a color challenge where we are challenged to use 2 or more colors from the color wheel.

I used brown, orange, gold and yellow with Papertrey Ink's Hello Sunshine stamp set. All Inks are from  Papertrey as well.

I Heart You

I spent the day yesterday making Valentines. It snowed all day, one of my sons was home to watch Super Bowl with his dad, I made a big pot of soup... what a great day!

Here is one of my Valentines that I made from mostly new schtuff. The only things that are not new, are the sentiment and the card stock.

CASEing Michele

 Time Out #207 begins today, I am so excited about this challenge because it is our first CASE The Artist challenge, AND even better, our artist to CASE is the incredibly talented, friendly and funny  Michele Ferguson of I Card Everyone.

Michelle's creations are so artful and inspiring. She is a lover of nature and takes a lot of inspiration from it in her art, especially flowers, birds and butterflies. It was such a joy to make a card inspired by Michele's. I went with a white heart, surrounded by floral die cuts in shades of pink and a touch of green. I added a foiled die cut sentiment. All of the products except the sentiment (SSS) and the white heart (Spellbinders) are from Pinkfresh Studio. Guess whose work introduced me to that awesome company??? To make my card, I chose one of the snowflakes from Gina K Designs Mini Wreath Builder Template Stencil and used the very luscious Bo Bunny Rose Gold Glitter Paste to emboss it. I added a sentiment from Happy Little Stampers Let It Snow stamp set.
