It's Monday and that means it is my day to showcase my STAMPlorations projects. You can also view them and see more detail on the STAMPlorations Blog.
Today, both of my projects feature VINTAGE ROSES A2 CARD FRONTS in the Quick Card Fronts line. This set has 4 graphic designs printed on 120# (325 gsm) matte cardstock. There are 8 4x5.25" card fronts in the pack - 2 of each design.
My projects:
I trimmed and mounted the card front on a piece of colored card stock giving it a 1/16" mat, then adhered it to an ivory card base. The sentiment is from the Floral Magic sticker pack adhered to a scrap of blush cardstock and die cut with a fishtail flag die.
For my second card, I stenciled the card front with the Abstract April Showers stencil with white ink to accentuate the words "rain drops" in the sentiment. Once it was dry, I stamped the sentiment from the (retired, but currently available in sticker format) Typographia - Encouragement stamp set with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I trimmed the card panel as I did in my first card and adding a 1/16 " mat, then adhered the whole panel to a white card base.
