Time for a new challenge at
Time Out.
Challenge #102 is a Home Sweet Home Challenge - a photo inspiration with a homey twist. I focused on the color scheme using gold and copper metallic inks along with black and dry embossing. The "happy" is die cut from copper metallic glitter paper, popped up on three layers of black, and inlaid into the stamped panel. I debated on whether to use gold or copper for the sentiment, but on the advice of my favorite in-house card critic (my 18 year old son, Greg), I went with the copper. It was very hard to capture the copper embossing on the little black banner in the photo, but it really looks great IRL.
The challenge runs from February 1 to February 14. Head on over to the
Time Out Challenge Blog for all the details and to check out the awesome cards that the DT created for your inspiration. Guest designing with us for this challenge is the awesome and talented
