Happy Birthday

Time Out Challenge #149 is up and running. It is a Theme Challenge of CELEBRATIONS, and there is an optional twist of One Layer.

Our wonderful sponsor is Altenew. The winner will receive a $20.00 gift voucher to use at the Altenew Store.

Our Guest Designer is Christine, a wonderful designer with an ecclectic style. Do yourself a favor and visit her blog for some wonderful inspiration.

I am into experimenting with foiling these days. I used a stencil from Brutis Monroe and applied transfer gel. After It dried, I applied a piece of purple foil, and ran It through my laminator. The result was wonderful except for a little glitch on the right. I still like the way it turned out. I used a sentiment from Happy Little Stampers Beautiful Butterflies to complete my card.

Please head over to the Time Out Challenge Blog and see what Angie and the marvelous DT has created to inspire you. Come play with us!

Mon Amie

Time Out Challenge #145 is up and running. Our theme is Breast Cancer Awareness with the option of One Layer and Pink. Your card can be one of encouragement, support, friendship, love, etc. Challenge Winner, chosen at random from those who use the option, will receive a $25.00 gift voucher to use in the CAS-ual Fridays Store. The Design Team will choose a winner who will be offered a Guest Designer spor for a future challenge.

This Challenge is sponsored by Michele Gross, owner of CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and Breast Cancer Survivor herself. This cause is very close to her heart, as it is to mine. To quote Michele, "By myself I can do a little, but together we can do more. A portion of every sale made here will be given to charitable foundations that are actively seeking cures and better treatment strategies for breast cancer, and all cancer, because not all cancers are pink."

Sidan is our Guest Designer for this challenge. Sidan is a wonderful designer with a unique style. Treat yourself to a stroll through her blog and leave her some love. You are sure to be inspired.

For my card, I used CAS-ual Fridays Mon Amie stamps. I simply stamped the image, colored it with Copic Markers, and added the sentiment. I think this is a perfect card for sending love and encouragement for any situation, but when a friend is going through cancer diagnosis and treatment, the best thing you can do is just be a friend. Say little. Support a lot. Cards are wonderful ways to engourage.

Born To Be Wild

Time Out Challenge #108 goes live today with a theme of WILD.
Challenge sponsor is Winnie & Walter. Winner will receive a $25 gift voucher to spend in the Winnie & Walter store.
Our Guest Designer is the wonderfully fun and talented Darnell of djkardkreations. She will be with us for the challenge and reminder posts. If you don't know Darnell, you really must meet her. In any case, visit her blog for a real treat! You will be so glad you did!

For my card, I used a free digi download from Winnie & Walter for the background. It felt wild and jungle-like to me. I heat embossed the tiger on a white stitched circle die cut with metallic copper embossing powder, and die cut a gold metallic circle to frame it. The image and sentiment are from Happy Little stampers Born To Be Wild.

Please head over to the Time Out Challenge Blog and see what the Design Team has created for your inspiration. Then get wild and create something to share in our gallery.
