Cheers!

Time Out Challenge #125 is up and running. This time it is "Inspired By Words":
"Celebrate Friends, Family, Life!"

Michele Ferguson of I Card Everyone is Guest Designer for this challenge. Michele is wildly talented and so incredibly whitty and fun. I love her work. If you have never had the pleasure, please visit her blog. You will be madly inspired and entertained.

STAMPlorations is our wonderful sponsor. Challenge Winner will receive a $15.00 gift voucher to spend at the STAMPlorations store, and one random winnrer will receive a goody bag of stamps and dies.

To make my card, I pulled out the December 2016 My Monthly Hero Kit. It contains lots of celebratory images and dies. I stamped and die cut the sparkler image 7 times with Tsukineko Silver Shimmer Delicata Ink. I then added a dot of gold to each of the sparkles with a Zig Painty gold pen and I arranged the sparklers in a circle to create a wreath. I die cut the word "cheers" from silver metallic adhesive backed paper (PTI) and placed it under the sparkler wreath. I used Lawn Fawn's Scalloped Rectangle Lawn Cuts with white linen cardstock (PTI), and mounted that panel on to a Ninah Solar White 110# card base.

From Our House To Yours

As I was looking through my Christmas stash today to find inspiration for the current Less Is More One Layer Holiday Challenge, I came upon this wonderful little set from Verve called Poinsettia Christmas that I have had for many years. I love this particular poinsettia image and the font of the sentiment. I used my MISTI to stamp it a few times with Memento Ladybug Ink to get a deep red color. I turned the card upside down to get the placement I wanted, then stamped the sentiment in between with VersaFine Claire Nocturne Ink. I added a generous drop of gold Stickles to the center and pressed it down with my index finger. I then outlined each flower with a G0000 Copic marker. Voila!

For my card, I chose to twist with a one layer card created with the Altenew Build A Flower: Poinsettia in shades of red. I used black ink for the center and added some clear Stickles to add a little sparkle. I also coated the leaves with clear WOS. The sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers Christmas Joy stamp set, stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Hugs

Creative With Stamps Challenge #32 is up and running with the theme of FEATHER.

For my card, I used the largest feather image from Papertrey Ink's Feather Finery set. I stamped it in 3 fall shades using my MISTI. After stamping with color, I stamped again with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with clear EP. I heat embossed again with the detail stamp that goes with the feather using gold EP.  It's hard to see that detail in the picture, but it does add depth and interest. I used matte gold cardstock to die cut, stack and inlay the word "hugs" (die from STAMPlorations), added a few sequins, distressed the edges and attached that panel to my card base.

Challenge Sponsor is MHK Designs

Challenge winner will receive their choice of 3 MHKDesigns.

Please head on over to the Creative With Stamps Blog, check out what the Design Team has come up with to inspire you, and play along with us.
Happy crafting!

I Drive Stick

I just LOVE this stamp set by Picket Fence Studios - it cracks me up. And I DO drive a stick shift car. I had to have this set. I created a CAS Halloween card using glittery embossing powder over a panel of blended Distress Oxide Inks.

With Gratitude

Addicted To CAS #148 is up and running. The challenge is to make a ONE LAYER card and Barb is our hostess. Barb will be sending a crafty gift to the challenge winner.

Remember - A 'one layer' card is defined as "A piece of card folded in two. No other layers are allowed".

Don't forget, as always, Happy Little Stampers is our Sponsor, and Kylie is generously awarding the winner  a $20.00 gift
certificate to the store!

To create my card, I masked a panel on Neenah Solar White 110# cardstock and blended some Distress Oxide inks in fall colors. I stamped a leaf from Paper Smooches Botanicals 2  in VersaFine Vintage Sepia over the inked panel. The heat embossed sentiment is from Jillian Vance Designs Auntum Blessings set.
