The holiday I love most that we celebrate in the U.S. is Thanksgiving. To me, it is a lovely time of celebration and tradition in which a heart full of gratitude is the center of attention. To many, it is a day to watch football and shop at 3:00 AM, but not for me. It's a day to take TIME OUT to spend with family and friends, to savor the scents and think about the blessings in our lives. It's a hard day for so many as well for so many reasons, as so many holidays and everydays can be, so it's also a day and a time to give of yourself in whatever way you can to be of service to others.

I love the colors in your die cuts and also your design where you left some of the "small pieces" intact, great look, love it! Such a beautiful autumn card.
Really, really pretty Stephanie! Those Concord & 9th die cuts are so stunning in the metallic finish you created - they are perfection against that woodgrain background! I have had my eye on those dies for a while - you may have just pushed them into my cart :)

Stephanie, your post is an excellent reminder of the 'essence' of Thanksgiving, drawing closer on your calendar and long past on ours here in Canada. Expressing gratitude every day is something I'm trying hard to work on...and this day, I'm truly thankful for your card! This is one of *the* most beautiful showcases of the Giving Thanks set I've seen! Colours, design, intent: powerful!
