It's tie for a new challenge at Time Out. For Challenge #301, we are looking for projects that are in celebration of your favorite holiday to celebrate. That can be ANY holiday that you celebrate ANY time throughout the year.
Angie Blom Digital Designs is our Sponsor generously offering our Challenge Winner a $20 store credit as a prize. Our Challenge Winner will be invited to join us as Guest Designer for a future challenge.
We are joined by Stef Perry of Perry Papercrafts as our Guest Designer. Stef is a very talented paper crafter and a frequent player here at Time Out. You can view Stef's project on The Time Out Challenge Blog where you can also link to her Guest Designer post on her Blog.
When it comes to my favorite holiday to celebrate, there is no question which it is. Mine is Thanksgiving, hands down. I love that it is a day to gather, to think about life's blessings, to enjoy family and friends and share good food. I simply love it.
For my card, I dug out my Essentials By Ellen All Inside and Bear Ware 4 stamps and dies and made a little Thanksgiving scene with them. I use a stencil to create a little inked rectangle in which to place my die cuts on the embossed panel. Looking at it now, I wish I had used a darker color for that, but you live and learn. Right?
What is your favorite holiday to celebrate? Please head on over to the Time Out Challenge Blog where you can see what Stef and the Design Team have created for your inspiration. Come play with us! We would be so happy to see your project in our gallery. Please be sure to mention your holiday in your post. We'd also love to hear why you chose that one in particular. I can't wait to see what you create!

I agree, Stephanie! It's Thanksgiving for me, too!

What a sweet scene Stephanie ... and so expertly executed! Your colouring is amazing (and your die cutting is perfect) and I love the embossed and stencilled background! Cute pilgrim hat too! Hugs Kate!
I absolutely LOVE Thanksgiving too Stephanie...especially stuffing with gravy over the top of it! And turkey sandwiches later too! And family!! Yep, I love the whole holiday too and your card totally depicts the awesomeness of the day with those sweet bears! LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)
Those Thanksgiving bears are precious. Blessings!
I'm not sure that you know that these adorable bears and their accessories are my all time favorite stamps by Ellen Hutson. (I never got the pies or the squash though.) I love your embossing folder in the background a lot and the added ink blended rectangle...great idea!! What a nice card for Thanksgiving for someone special.
Aww, this is such a cute scene for thanksgiving day. Love how you have given this beautiful embossed backdrop for these cute bears. Love it. Hugsxx
The embossed background is perfect to showcase these fun bears Stephanie! Great card!:)
I never did get that little bear but I've always loved that Bear Ware set and you created such a fun Thanksgiving scene with them, Stephanie.
How did I miss this one... my goodness those pilgrim bears are just too cute for their own good!
