Challenge #106 has begun at Time Out Challenges. This gorgeous, springy Home-Sweet-Home inspiration photo really sang to me. I used several elements of the picture to compose my card: the  blue pedestal on which the vase is standing, the design on the vase, the Forsythia, that touch of gold in the forks that are laying on the napkin, and lastly, the hope in my heart as I welcome this new season and the newness and warmth that it holds.

The challenge runs from Thursday, March 29th to Wednesday April 11th.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Altenew.
Challenge winner will receive a $20 gift voucher for the Altenew Store.

Our fabulous Guest Designer is Sarah Gray. Sarah's BLOG is chock full of wonderful card designs.  Sarah's card, gift and home decor designs are available for purchase on Folksy. Give yourself a treat and check both out for lots of arty inspiration.

Head on over to the Time Out Challenge Blog, and see what the Design Team has created for your inspiration. I can't wait to see how the photo inspires you!

wow you got so many elements from the card that I missed! I love it when this happens, shows me how we all see things differently and that is why I love photo challenges. I adore you picked out the pattern on the vase and used this in the blue as the background such a super idea. And the flowers look amazing floating here. This card inspires me x

I have to say that I hope your sentiment is true because Spring sure seems to be taking it's sweet time arriving here ;) I swear that I saw snowflakes yesterday!

Your card is so fabulous - I love the soft stenciled background - the blue really makes your gorgeous yellow flowers pop! And I love the gold (another thing I totally missed in the photo!). Great design - perfect card!

Beautiful! I love the softly stenciled bg, this is one of my favorite card making techniques, it's such a fast way to add some "wow" to cards! Beautifully colored flowers too and I sure hope this sentiment is true... The spring is about 3 weeks late here in Finland and we still have a massive amount of snow. Grrrr!!
