Hey Buddy!

Let's Hear It For The Boys

I made this card for a sweet little 2 year old guy (my great nephew) with whom I spent last Saturday evening while his parents had a much needed date. He is incredibly verbal and smart and just adorable in every way. I took him for ice cream, and we made up a song together about things that he loves, including vanilla ice cream! I had to make him a card and tell him what a great time I had with him, and that we will hopefully have many adventures together. Dies and sentiment are from Paper Smooches, and background splotches are MFT.

Thanks for coming by!

I sounds like you had a lovely time, I'm sure it was much appreciated by his lucky parents. Your card is such fun to, I love the CAS style. It's just so crisp and clean and fun to look at. Thanks for playing along with us at the Little Red Wagon!

What a happy card! I bet he was thrilled to get it and remembered is wonderful time with you. That ice cream has all the sparkle needed to capture a little boy's heart!

ACK! Not only is this sparkly ice cream cone card wonderfully adorable, but your description of your 'date' with your grand-nephew has me beaming with joy! Talk about making memories! Aren't the littles so much fun! My family visited over the long weekend, and I loved every. single. minute with my niece and nephew (6 and 4). Fortunately, we're heading their direction on Friday, so I'll see them soon (fingers crossed the bike races we're officiating won't take up the entire weekend!). Awesome card and a heart-warming post!
