With Sympathy

This gorgeous set of dies from STAMPlorations (CUTplorations Flutter Zen 1) is so perfect for so many things. Sadly, I am in need of a sympathy card for a friend who lost her son. The colors are inspired by this week's Less Is More Challenge. The gray and the yellow are a wonderful juxtaposition that makes me think of the feelings of sadness and hope. This seems to be very fitting for a situation in which there are just no words...

This is a beautiful card, but I'm so sorry it was prompted by a terrible and sad occasion :( My thoughts are with your friend at this difficult time. I agree that the grey and yellow have the right feel for this and I think it's a lovely card that will comfort your friend. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More x

What a beautiful card for your friend Stephanie, she will love it for sure and I love the feeling of hope that the yellow color brings to the card. What a tragedy for your friend, sending my best wishes for her and for you too. Thanks for joining us at Less Is More. xxx

So sad to hear about the occasion that has required you to make this card but it is elegant and speaks volumes, Stephanie. I used that butterfly die too for this challenge - it works perfectly for lots of occasions - and I love the soft yellow background that you have created too. Thank you for sharing your card with us at Less is More this week x
