Happy 11th Birthday Time Out!

 

It's time for a new challenge at Time Out. This one is extra special as it celebration of our 11th birthday. It opens today and runs through March 12. Time Out Challenges was started 11 years ago by the Dyamic Duo of Sandie Munro and Nonni Niskanen. There has been so much amazing art here over the years. We have had many different and fabulous designers, guests, sponsors and countless, wonderful participants from all around the world. We are still going strong. Thanks to all through these 11 years, and happy birthday to us!

To celebrate, we have stepped out of our "regular" rotation schedule with a "CASE the Designer Challenge" which we do once a year. This year our muse is the incredibly talented Donna Mikasa of

3 umbrellas which is filled with the magic of her wonderful artistry. Do treat yourself to a stroll through Donna's blog. You can't help but be inspired!

I attended a fabulous class with Cheiron Brandon on Saturday that was all about gelli printing. It was 5 hours filled with wonderful people, wonderfully messy art and lots of lifting each other up, all in a yurt! Oh how wonderful it was! My card is composed of a piece of one of my gelli makes of the day, a piece of Washi tape, a die cut from the class supplies and a Reverse Confetti Cover Plate. I love the way my CASE card turned out. I had the joyful experience of working with Donna Mikasa in the process of presenting this challenge, and I am immensely gratefully that she joined us as our muse for this challenge.
