Time Out Challenge #141 is up and running. This time, it is a THEME challenge of RELAXATION with the optional twist of ONE LAYER.
This challenge is sponsored by Newton's Nook Designs. The Challenge Winner chosen at random from those who do the twist, will receive $25 in store credit.
Our wonderful Guest Designer is Maieke. Do treat yourself to a stroll throug her blog. Her designs are awesome, and her coloring is killer fabulous. Don't miss this opportunity to be inspired, and please leave her some love.
I dug deep into my stash and pulled out Taylored Expressions Chillax stamp set, and Spellbinders Impressabilities Sea Scape embossing plate. I am very happy with the result. I did not do the twist on my card - mainly because I forgot to do it. What an airhead!!! I loved what I came up with, so I let it be.
I dry embossed the background. I stamped, colored and cut out the margarita glass and mounted it on a wonky circle die cut from MFT. I added a sentiment from CZ Designs stamped on a banner die from SimonSays Stamps.
Please head over to the Time Out Challenges Blog to see what the Design Team has created for your inspiration. Play with us to share your creation, and for a chance to win a prize from Newton's Nook Designs. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Yes please, Stephanie! This is so much fun ... delicious beachy texture ... and what a fabulous cactus glass for that yummy looking margherita! Hugs, Anita :)
I like some tea at this time of my day....
It looks so elegant and fresh with the beautiful embossing and stichted diecut! Hugs, Gerrina
I'd choose that fab dry embossing over one-layer every time, Stephanie!!! and extra salt on my margarita, too!!
A fabulous way to relax... wish I could join you! xx

Yes please! That used to be my fav cocktail and your colouring is spot on...these days it is an Americano coffee! I love all that texture and how CAS this still looks! And remember you never have to use the option, just up to you if you want to. Next year the twists are all different not just one layer!
What a quirky cocktail Stephanie, I love the coastal vibe you have going! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week. Kim
So let's have drinks! LOL! I saw you comment on my blog about working in a school and having summers off. I was a teacher and know that feeling! Now retired and don't have to worry about summer ending! Love your card! Perfect image for relaxation!
This is such a cool card, Stephanie! Your pretty cocktail and beach themed embossed background gives a real relaxed and holiday feel to your card. Thanks for sharing with us at Just Add Ink this week.
I really like the textured / embossed background, it goes lovely with the background colour. Chantell Just Add Ink

I really love this, Stephanie! The CAS design looks fab yet the dry embossing adds SO much interest and style to the card-I should use my embossing folders more often!! Beautiful work. Have a relaxing weekend! xxx
