Wonderful sparkly fun and perfect celebratory card Stephanie! It's got everything and brilliant! I've used brushos once and made a complete mess but I do love the 'not knowing how it's gonna turn out like' feeling. My favourite crafty stash is my distress inks as I can watercolour with them, inky blend with them, stencil and most importantly I can't reist flicking water at it and removing some colour. Sarah x

Stephanie, your card is "SUPER" CUTE!
My fav. crafting purchase this year was my Zig Clean Color Brush Pens. I have seen them used so much and they looked amazing. I got them and was OT disappointed! (I still don't have Brusho's but they have my attention too!) LOL

Hey, Stephanie! This is super cool! I have not tried brushos, but I think I will be trying those soon. I really enjoying stencils a lot this year. Those are new to me. I'd also like to try the Gelli plate!

Love the hero on your card!
If you had asked me last year it would have been my Brushos, but this year so far it are my Zig clean colors! Tried them in April and have them since this week and they are so beautifully bright! Just what I was looking for...

Knock out Stephanie! I am totally smitten by your fiercesome super hero. Judging from the number of times I use them I think the MFT Die-namic double stitched rectangle dies have to be my best purchase so far this year.

Haha what a cute card! It'll be great for a masculine card as they do love to think they're our heroes! 😉 I love my brushos too for the amazing effects they give but my favourite object must be my humble water brush. Because of it i might be one step closer to being able to paint with a real brush! Lol!

Inka Gold is one of my favorite new products that I purchased this year. Brushos are pretty cool too, but sometimes forget to use them.

Super card for a super birthday! My favorite craft purchase so far this year is a tiny die from Poppystamps called Water Spouts! I had been looking for it for a long time and it goes with my Whale family! I was so happy when I finally one in stock!

Glennis said...

Ooooh yes!! me too! me too! I haven't had my Brushos long, so I am still experimenting.
Great card too - super cute!

Beverley said...

What a SUPER card! Sorry couldn't resist adding a little pun ;) Loving the sparkle too.

I think my favourite crafting purchase this year has to be my recent purchase of a mini set of distress inks. The larger pads 'distressed' me some what and I went off them and sold the few I had. The mini pads just seem to work easier for me and I feel I can 'manage' the inkiness of them better!

Fab card. I'm hoping to have a play with my Brushos tomorrow and I use my MISTI for almost every card I make, but these are products that came to live in my house. I'm now eagerly waiting for my Clarity brushes to arrive next week. Soft and smooth blending is a challenge for me and I'm hoping and expecting these brushes will help solve this issue.

Love your 'super' card, especially the inlaid glitter background. Best thing I purchased this year is I found somewhere locally to buy smooth, white water colour cardstock. Its brilliant!!!
