Halloween Word Play

The theme for the new challenge at AAA Cards Challenge is "Word Play" - use mostly words on your project. This immediately made me think of the Subway Series: Holidays stamps from Fresh Squeezed Stamps that I have had in my Autumn holiday stash for a few years. I blended some distress inks on a stitched rectangular panel of watercolor paper and embossed it with some Ranger Black Sparkle EP.  The spider and web side panel are cut from black glitter paper with Martha Stewart punches - also found deeply placed in my Autumn holiday stash.

I am also linking up and playing with:

Thank you so much for coming by today. I really appreciate your visit and your comments. Have a great day.

Fabulous Halloween card Stephanie! I love the blended background - perfect Halloween colours! Great idea to use the sparkle EP too - it really finishes the card perfectly! Jill

Yayyyy for Halloween themed cards, as that's exactly where I'm heading for the next while! Your colourful background is perfect for the subway word art, and the glittery web and spider add such impact! Love this!! (Black glitter paper? I 'need' some; who makes it?).
