Spooky

I am super excited to be here as Guest Designer at Color Hues where the colors for the first challenge of the month of October are purple and orange. To play, you may use any gradient tone of the two challenge colors. Neutrals (white, black, grey, kraft, brown, cream, gold, and silver) are welcome. There are so many directions in which to go with these gorgeous colors at this time of year. Where does your imagination take you?

After lots of consideration, I went with a Halloween theme for my creation. There are lots of cute little goblins in my world at present, and because of that, I am in Halloween mode. This one will go to my sweet new pen pal, Olivia. I just love the way this one turned out and I know she will love it to pieces.

Please head over to the Color Hues Challenge Blog to see the projects that the wonderful Deign Team has come up with to inspire and ignite your imaginations. The challenge is open until  October 14th at 9:00 AM EST, Come play with us! I can't wait to see your creation in the gallery!

Corny Thanksgiving

Autumn has officially arrived where I live. Leaves are turning, pumpkins abound, the soup pot is ready to sing, and it's harvest time. It's also time for another fall themed challenge at The Four Seasons Challenge. This gorgeous mood board is there for your inspiration, but anything Fall goes.

I took my inspiration from the Flint Corn in the photo on the bottom left above. Every year my Kind Of Corny stamp set and the die cuts that Michele F. so kindly cuts for me come out of hibernation. There's history here! When I saw this mood board, I knew it was time. It's hard to see the color differentiation in my corn, but it is there and I love it. I had so much fun putting this card together.

Take a look at the mood board, and see what inspires you. The Design Team members have created wonderful projects to get your creative juices flowing. Check them out on the challenge blog HERE. Make yourself a cuppa, get your craft on, and join us in the gallery. I can't wait to see what you create!
