Time for a new challenge at Just Us Girls. It's Color Week and we are hosted by Bobby who has chosen a gorgeous combination of peach, lavender and gray for our inspiration. We welcome Jenny Martin of My Paper Epiphany as our Guest Designer for the Month of May. Jenny is a very talented cardmaker with a wonderfully ecclectic style. I decided that the challenge colors would be lovely for butterflies. The Pinkfresh Small Butterflies collection has a lovely variety of butterflies that you can foil, stencil and die cut all images at once. I used the colors on my foiled and diecut butterflies. I used a PTI impression plate to create a base layer for my design. I added an embossed strip on this layer to adhere my beautiful butterflies to, popped them up with foam squares and added some silver dots. The sentiment is stamped and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
