Water You Been Up To?

It's time for a new challenge at Time Out Challenge #291 opens today and runs through July 2nd. It is a "Photo Inspiration Challenge". Use the photo to inspire your project and tell us how you were inspired,

We are sponsored by Frantic Stamper with a. $20.00 to the Frantic Stamper Store. We are so grateful for Fran's sponsorship. Thank you for your support of Time Out.

It's easy to see how I was inspired by the photo. I took several sea themed images from my stash and colored them with many of the colors in the photo. I placed them around a die cut heart that I placed over a panel of ocean water. I finished it off with a punny sentiment by Julie Ebersole from her "Just Squidding" stamp set for Essentials by Ellen.

Please head on over to the Time Out Challenge Blog where you can see what Jaydee and the rest of the Design Team has created for your inspiration. Come play with us. I can't wait to see your projects!

I am not one bit surprised that you have loads of ocean treasures in your stash, Stephanie - you've brought them all together in a very fun way! Who wouldn't love a dip in a heart-shaped pool? BONUS: a really fun PUN!

Your collection of under the sea treasures is fabulous, Stephanie. I was a little surprised by the octopus though. :D The stenciled water looks wonderful.

Fun AND beautiful at the same time Stephanie! I love the heart shaped "pool" and all the little sea creatures you added, and of course that sentiment is absolutely perfect for this card! LOVE it!! Hugs. :0)

I know your beach-loving heart loved every minute making this shell-themed card. It's very realistic and you even found a way to get the heart shape in the design. Love it, girl!

This is such an enchanting, maritime card. I think everyone would love your design and the many facets of the ocean. The die-cut heart with the wave pattern in the background is breathtaking in itself. And the octopus with all the ocean treasures is simply gorgeous. Beautiful colors and a fantastic arrangement.
Thank you for sharing in the current Everybody Art Challenge.
Hugs, Uschi

Love your Octopus' garden Stephanie! The stencilled background is wonderful too, I just want to dive right in - especially given the heat wave we're experiencing at the moment! Hugs, Kate!
