Peace, Love and Totally Cool!

CAS-ual Fridays challenge this week is to use 2 circles on your project.  I just bought this fun Peace Signs set from Inkadinkado, and decided that my circle design would incorporate one of those images.  I also got a big stash of Paper Smooches fun recently, so I was bound and determined to work some of those in too.  Well, I see my 2 circles as the two gray circles, but then there are all of the embossed circles and the white circle and the peace sign circle... nonetheless, I like the way this finally came out.  My color scheme is taken from this week's Play Date Cafe color story challenge.  Thanks so much for stopping in today. The current CRAFTY CATWALK Challenge, which will be open and accepting your designs  until September 30, 2010, encourages you to Style a While and create a beauty using a dark focal point and shimmery products.  I have this wonderful new black sparkle embossing powder from Ranger.  I knew it would be perfect for this challenge, and CPS 185 (below) was the perfect layout for my card.

The guitar is very sparkley, and the Hero Arts nailheads were the perfect shiney embellishment.  Fun, fun, fun!

I needed a birthday card in a hurry for a special teenager who is an amazing guitarist, so I used Inkadinkado's Rock Star set, and CASE'd myself for this one. HERE is the original. I love the new Cast A Spell DSP from SU, and knew it would be a perfect background for this.
