Thank You So Much

Paper Players Challenge #662 is has a fun theme where we are challenged to add a tag to our project. I built this Thank You card around a snippet which was the (MFT) tag with a stamped sentiment from SSS So Talkative stamp set. I love the way this came out.

Welcome Baby

As I was looking through challenge blogs for inspiration, I decided that the combination of these two would work beautifully together. 'Nuff said.

Tag For Today

When I saw Marion Vagg's gorgeous tag that is the inspiration for the Tag You're It Challenge #67, I reached for my snippet box and found some things that would work beautifully for the challenge. All of the elements in my tag, except for the ribbon, are from that box of little treasures. I love making things from it's contents!

Just For You

I hope you had a chance to play AAA Game #67 - Googley Eyes. It was so fun to see all of the wonderful creations in the gallery. It's time for Game #68, and this time, it is "tags".  Happy Little Stampers is our wonderful sponsor.

The first place winner will receive a $20.00 Gift Certificate for the Happy Little Stampers Store.

 Here is my take:

The top of my tag is watercolored then sprayed with Shimmer Mist. The bottom is from a scrap of PP and the inlaid die is done with glittered fun foam. The sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers Butterfly Birthday set.

I am also linking up at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where the theme is Anything Goes.

Please head on over to the AAA Cards Challenge Blog and take a look at the wonderful DT creations. Create a tag of your own, link up to the gallery, and you may win a gift certificate to Happy Little Stampers! Have fun, and have a great day.

Friends Forever

This week's inspiration for Tag You're It #39 is so adorable.  I love that little camper and many of the DT pieces had vehicles or homes on them, but I chose the sky as the inspiration for my creation.  Here is my take:

I love these Paper Smooches dies and they came to mind when I saw Erin's clouds. I wanted a sentiment that meant something like "no matter what the weather...". After a lot of digging, I found this sentiment from a Tailored Expressions set called "Branching Out" that was deep in my stash. Perfect.

I am also going to link this project to the current Simon Says Monday challenge, which is

BEST FRIENDS.

Thanks so much for stopping in today. As I type, there is a blizzard going on here in the northeastern part of the US. LOTS of snow, and lots of crafting time for me! Woot!  As always, I appreciate your taking the time to comment. Your feedback is wonderful.

Welcome Baby Tag

This adorable tag by Tracey McNeely is the inspiration for the current Tag, You're It Challenge #38. I used Simon Says Stamp Party Animals to create my take on Tracey's inspiration piece:

I just love the little images in this set - perfect for this project. Thanks so much for coming by and taking a look.

Welcome Baby

I have so much trouble photographing tags. This is take #too-many-to-count and I just had to quit!

We have a new baby coming on our family. My beautiful niece is going to be a mama. I found the sweetest gift for her and her baby, Thomas Flynn. It is a book called Letters To My Baby. It contains 12 fold-and-mail letters, each letter bearing a prompt for moms to reflect on their hopes and dreams for their little ones. The letters can be postdated, sealed, and gifted for the years to come. In the future, their children get to break the seals to receive the greatest gift imaginable: a tangible expression of their mother's love. I am getting a bit misty just typing this!

To make a tag for this wonderful gift, I got some inspiration from the current Tag You're It Challenge. I pulled out Baby Party Animals stamps and dies from SSS, and Paper Smooches Quote Tag and Gift Tag Dies and came up with this creation.

I can't wait to meet this little guy, who should be here very soon. Wishing him a safe journey and arrival. Thank you so much for stopping by today. Wishing YOU a wonderful day.

Tag You're It! Thank You

When I saw the inspiration for Tag You're It Challenge #25 today, this wonderful Newsprint Tulip stamp from Hero Arts came to mind, and I knew just what to do. I changed the color scheme, but kept the elements of the script on the flower, the sponging, the thread nest and the sentiment on die cut. I used Cameo Coral and Always Artichoke ink for the flowers and stems, and Ranger Antique Linen to sponge around the edges.  The sentiment is from a very old SU stamp set called Short & Sweet, and it is embossed with Zing Aqua Embossing Powder. I am pleased with the result. The photographing made me very cranky. If anyone has some tips on photographing flat things, please let me know!

Thanks so much for stopping in today.  Your comments bring me much joy. Have a great day!
