I made this card for my husband's birthday. We are beach people to the core. We are so fortunate to have a little house by the sea, on an island with a red and white lighthouse nearby that can be seen from our roof deck. When I saw these Waffle Flower products from the June release, I knew that I had to have them. To make my card, I CASE'd THIS card by Jeanne Jachna. That heart from the lighthouse beam had me at first sight! Rather than using all card stock in the colors I wanted, I used the stencil that comes with the wave die to color the waves and rocks. I also used a different cover plate in the background and I stenciled the clouds too. This is really a great card for the hub, and I know he will love it.

WOW! That is one very handsome card for your husband, Stephanie! So many details to love about it - mostly I love the fabulous crashing waves! I'm quite sure if I was to venture out, I'd find our own lighthouse covered in blue ice!
