I have so many things in my age old stash as I am sure most of us do... I love this Retro Rubber Challenge. The idea is to breathe new life into your old supplies. It is preferable that stamps used are more than year old. This wonderful Hero Arts rubber stamp is at least 5 years old and probably much older than that, as is the DP and the Twinkling H2O's that I used to color the image. How fun! I am going to keep coming back for this one!
Thanks so much for coming by to visit.
Wow, what a great card! I love this image and what you did with it! Fantastic! Thanks for playing along with Retro Rubber!

ReplyDeleteYour flower is timeless! I love the twinkling H2Os, I just used those tonight for the first time in at least ten years! The gold "thanks" is wonderful and I love your colorful strip going across the card! What a great challenge, I've never heard of it, thanks!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely one of my top picks at the RRCB11!!! I love your card.
ReplyDeleteWOW, Stephanie, talk about breathing new life into your *older* products, with retro-ravishing results. The colourful triangle border sets off your pretty doodle-ish flower and leaves wonderfully. The gold thanks...oh my! Gorgeous! Thank you for your warm, encouraging comments - and the tip about the Mod Squad challenge! Added to my Feedly...another playground to play in!

Aaah, I so love this, Stephanie! I wish there were 18 more hours in every day. I have every TH2O and most of the wee bottles have never been opened. I am pinning this ... sigh. I love that we keep pinning even after we know that we will never live long enough to CASE all the cards we have pinned!! But we never give up hope, right?! I'm proud of you for having used yours so brilliantly!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove how you mixed the old with the new. Such a pretty card, and I am going to check out this challenge. Never heard of it, but love the idea. I have too many red rubber stamps that get no love, but I would never part with them.
