This week's theme over at AAA Cards is:
The colors of Springtime are bright and fun, fair and delicate.
Spring finally seems to be arriving, so I was inspired to pull out my Paper Smooches Blossoming Buds images. I embossed them on vellum with lime green EP, and colored them on the back of the vellum with Copics. This is the first time I have tried this technique and I love the way it yields such a soft look.

All shades of Lovely.

I love how the flowers look embossed on vellum and that huge sentiment is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThis is so stunning and fabulous Stephanie. Love the offset panel on vellum and the colouring and placement of images is perfect.

ReplyDeleteI love how you used the vellum for the tilted piece and that big gorgeous sentiment! Thanks for sharing with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
ReplyDeleteI love the placement of the vellum on the card - such a great design element! And the flowers are so soft and pretty! Gorgeous card! Jill
ReplyDeleteYour colourful vellum flower clusters on the tilted panel are smile-making delights, Stephanie. A card guaranteed to make a friend feel ultra-special. I'm completely helpless when it comes to vellum, so seeing you work magic with it is a treat! Your comments on my TPE card had me happy dancing! Thank you! The flowers are stamp/die cuts from Uniko: Beautiful Blooms. I love it! I find making flower clusters a challenge (another thing to practice), so this bloom is a perfect solution! Stamp, die cut and ta dahhh...gotta love it when a product does nearly all the work! Happy Tuesday!
