Time Out Challenge #75 is up and running - CASE the Designer. The wonderful and talented Ksenija of Sweet Kobylkin created this wonderful inspiration card for the challenge:
Challenge sponsor for TO #75 is Happy Little Stampers. The winner will receive a $15.00 gift certificate to the Happy Little Stampers Store.
Our guest designer this time is the fabulous Marjan. Her blog is full of creative cards with various styles, do not miss any of it, click HERE!
Here is my take:
Ksenija's card put me in mind of the vine from PTI's With Sympathy stamp set that has been resting in my stash for a looooong time. In keeping with my resolution to dig things out of the deep, dark depths of my stash, I stamped it on watercolor paper, colored it with Zigs, and added some clear Wink Of Stella to the flowers to give them a little sparkle. The sentiment is done with Wet Paint Stamps and dies. "Happy" is die cut and inlaid in the top panel.
Please head on over to the TO Challenge Blog and take a look at the beautiful creations the design team has come up with for your inspiration. See where Ksenija's inspiration piece takes you. Link up your creation and play with us Time Out Challenge #75.
gorgeous CASE and superb colouring. I really like the inlaid die and the whole card as a feel of movement...if that makes sense!
ReplyDeleteThat inlaid die gives the podium to the flowerbranches so well! Great colours and gorgeous card! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful, Stephanie! I have the same New year's resolution that you do... I've even banned myself for shopping any new stamps or dies for 3 months. :) This stamp is beautiful and goes very well together with the sentiment you chose. Beautiful CAS card with lovely coloring.
ReplyDeleteYour inlaid happy is a wonderful touch! Gorgeous coloring too~
ReplyDeleteWe have the same resolution :) Isn't it amazing the things you can find in your own stash?! I love this vine stamp - it is so delicate and graphic at the same time and absolutely perfect for the CASE! An absolutely beautiful card Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteAmazing CASEing, Stephanie! You created a beautiful floral pattern with this delicate vine. - Sweet Kobylkin
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely cascade of delicate blooms, Stephanie ... they lead the eye perfectly to that fabulous inset sentiment ... looks letterpress-ish ... and gorgeous! Hugs, Anita :)
