ReplyDeleteI quite fancy having a go with brushos. My favourite purchase so far this year is some snazzy DP from Taylored Expressions :)
My favorite so far this year are my Zig Clean Clear brushes. It is awesome for watercoloring and blends nicely.
ReplyDeleteFun card! I think my favourite thing I bought this year is my Mini Misti or my Clarity Brushes.
ReplyDeleteWonderful sparkly fun and perfect celebratory card Stephanie! It's got everything and brilliant! I've used brushos once and made a complete mess but I do love the 'not knowing how it's gonna turn out like' feeling. My favourite crafty stash is my distress inks as I can watercolour with them, inky blend with them, stencil and most importantly I can't reist flicking water at it and removing some colour. Sarah x
ReplyDeleteoh he's a smug super hero isn;t he, love the glittered background on him, because it's purple and glitter ;-) MY favorite crafty purchase so far this year is the MISTI, it's not here yet, but soon, but one I have had now for a while is the WOW melt it powder to make charms and enamel dots, love love love it..happy birthday
ReplyDeleteStephanie, your card is "SUPER" CUTE!

Hey, Stephanie! This is super cool! I have not tried brushos, but I think I will be trying those soon. I really enjoying stencils a lot this year. Those are new to me. I'd also like to try the Gelli plate!
ReplyDeleteLove the hero on your card!
ReplyDeleteIf you had asked me last year it would have been my Brushos, but this year so far it are my Zig clean colors! Tried them in April and have them since this week and they are so beautifully bright! Just what I was looking for...
Knock out Stephanie! I am totally smitten by your fiercesome super hero. Judging from the number of times I use them I think the MFT Die-namic double stitched rectangle dies have to be my best purchase so far this year.
ReplyDeleteHaha what a cute card! It'll be great for a masculine card as they do love to think they're our heroes! 😉 I love my brushos too for the amazing effects they give but my favourite object must be my humble water brush. Because of it i might be one step closer to being able to paint with a real brush! Lol!
ReplyDeleteInka Gold is one of my favorite new products that I purchased this year. Brushos are pretty cool too, but sometimes forget to use them.
ReplyDeleteI just adore super hero themed cards, and this one is top notch! My favorite craft purchase this year would be my MFT stitched dies. I use them a lot!
ReplyDeleteThis is the sweetest birthday card! I love your perfectly colored super hero! heeheehee
ReplyDeleteI have a birthday coming up and my DH has ordered some Zigs for me! But as tradition has it in my family I won't get them until THE DAY. I can't wait to try them cuz I think they will be my favorites!! LOL but I recently got my Misti and just like the rest of Blogland I LOVE it!!
Thank you for the chance to win : )

ReplyDeleteGreat card too - super cute!
What a SUPER card! Sorry couldn't resist adding a little pun ;) Loving the sparkle too.
ReplyDeleteI think my favourite crafting purchase this year has to be my recent purchase of a mini set of distress inks. The larger pads 'distressed' me some what and I went off them and sold the few I had. The mini pads just seem to work easier for me and I feel I can 'manage' the inkiness of them better!
Hugs Bev x

ReplyDeleteFab card. I'm hoping to have a play with my Brushos tomorrow and I use my MISTI for almost every card I make, but these are products that came to live in my house. I'm now eagerly waiting for my Clarity brushes to arrive next week. Soft and smooth blending is a challenge for me and I'm hoping and expecting these brushes will help solve this issue.
