It's my turn to host Just Us Girls where Challenge #748 is Word Week, and I have chosen the word "leaves". I am thinking leaves on/from a tree or plant, but someone who goes away leaves too. Leaves may be turning and falling where I live, but if one lives in Australia, for instance, leaves are budding because it is spring. Use your imagination and see what you come up with. I can't wait to see you create!

For my card, I used stamps and dies from Reverse Confetti and Spellbinders to create an Autumn themed card with lots of colorful leaves colored with alcohol markers. Where will our word take you??

Beautiful card Stephanie!! Your colorful leaves are so pretty and look great against your background! We've got a few leaves turning here in West Michigan, but not as many as a normal fall...hot temps and too little rain have really done a number on our usual colors this time of year! Definitely enjoying yours though...thank you!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your leaves and am grateful for that word - they are a favorite of mine and it shows in my stash of supplies! LOve the wash-y colors in your background, Stephanie - patterned paper?!

ReplyDeleteThe perfect fall card Stephanie!
ReplyDeleteWhat great colors you have to make fall leaves! I think I need more ink colors! The muted background complements those brilliant colored leaves so well. You also have great sentiments in your stash! This one is such a good one. Love this card!
