Double Stenciled Fern Hello

It's time for a new challenge at Just Us Girls. I am the host for Stencil week where anything goes, as long as you use a stencil on your project.

We are once again joined by Bonnie Klass as our August Designer. This is Bonnie's last project for August with us. She has been a wonderful guest, and we are go grateful for her artful contributions. Thank you, Bonnie.

For my project, I used 2 stencils to create the subtle effect of the two green shades on the leaves. Die cut that panel with a stitched rectangle die, inlaid a stacked die cut sentiment, added some twine and a mat, adhered it to a white card base, and my card was complete.

Please head over to the Just Us Girls Challenge Blog and check out the wonderful creations by Bonnie and the rest of the Design Team. The canvas and the palette are unlimited, You just need to use a stencil! So check your stencil stash, see what colors strike your fancy, and create a project to share in our gallery! I can't wait to see how our players are inspired.

  3. Great two-stencil idea and the colors are sooooo pretty! I like how you tied twine over the sprig, too. The black really made the stenciled panel pop...I need to try that! Such a pretty card!!!
