Birthday Potpourri

It's time for a new challenge at Just Us Girls. We are hosted by Carol Mc for Color Week and she has chosen two fabulous colors for us to play with. We extend a warm welcome to the incredibly talented Bonnie Klass as our Guest Designer for the month of August. We are so thrilled to have her designing with us!

These colors are so bold and fun, I wanted them to really sing on my card! I smooshed them onto a 9x12 sheet Bristol paper (plenty left for future projects), then splattered with white pigment paint. From that smooshed sheet, I die cut a A2-ish large panel with Concord & 9th's Potpourri Dies and adhered it to a black base. The result was so dramatic so I didn't need more than a sentiment to finish my card. I had some pre-pressed and cut sentiments ready to use, so I popped one onto  the smooshed panel and my card was complete.

Please head over to the Just Us Girls Challenge Blog and check out the wonderful creations by Bonnie and the rest of the Design Team. Get crafty with your stash and join us in the gallery! I can't wait to see how our players are inspired.
