It's time for a new challenge at Just Us Girls. Lisa is our host for Stencil Week #728. Anything goes, as long as your project includes a stencil. Super talented Jenny Martin of My Paper Epiphany continues with us as our Guest Designer for the Month of May.
It's been so rainy for the past month where I live. I am craving sun and warmth, so I went in a tropical direction with my card for this challenge. This JungleBackground Stencil fit the bill perfectly along with summery colors and tropical images.
Please head over to the Just Us Girls Challenge Blog and check out the wonderful creations by Jenny and the rest of the Design Team. Get crafty with your stash and join us in the gallery! I can't wait to see how our players are inspired.

You had me at tropical and hibiscus!!! Great colors and design!!! I don't blame you for wanting the beach when it is rainy. All of your work on this card was well worth it!

Nailed it! Wow, what a pretty card. The stenciling is marvelous and I like the vellum window. Love this!
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful, tropical background paired with the vellum sentiment piece. The addition of the tropical flowers on the sentiment circle was the perfect addition to this beauty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful job of blending different colors through the stencil, Stephanie. It really looks tropical especially with the added hibiscus.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty stencil background. Gorgeous Card.
ReplyDeleteStephanie, your tropical card is gorgeous! Love the colours, the design, the hibiscus, the sentiment...just absolutely wonderful! I hear you about craving warm weather; rainy and windy here! Twice this week, walking our sweet Lily, we've been caught in downpours that include rain, hail and wind. Poor drenched girl; she's such a trooper!
