Hello crafty friends. Before I get to the new Time Out Challenge, I wanted to thank everyone who played with us and Just Us Girls for our Collaborative Challenge. It was so much fun. There were so many
"fa-bird-lous" entries. I hope that everyone will consider supporting both of our challenges moving forward.
Now on to our new challenge - Time Out Challenge #260 starts today. We are challenged to be "striped". If you look around and really open your eyes, there are stripes everywhere... in our textiles, foods, office supplies, buildings... really everywhere. So this one is really wide open. Let's get creative and get stripey!
We are generously sponsored by Lawn Fawn.
The challenge winner as chosen by the Design Team will receive a $25.00 Lawn Fawn store credit. The winner will also receive an invitation to Guest Design with is for a future challenge.
We are joined by Karen Rodgers of kareN stampZ as Guest Designer. Karen is a very talented crafter. You can view her challenge card and link to her blog from the Time Out Challenge Blog.
I have been making Easter cards. I had made this embossed panel and set it aside. I was going through patterned papers today and found this variety of striped papers, and decided to use the embossed panel and the little bunny die that came with it to "color" some of the bunnies. I added a panel of striped card to the base, and added twine, which also had a striped look and voila! My card was complete.
Please head over to the Time Out Challenge blog to see what Karen and the Design Team have created to inspire you. Find your stripes and play with us! Can't wait to see your creation in the gallery. Remember, we allow links to a total of 5 challenges including ours. Check out the rules in "how to play" on the sidebar of the challenge blog. See you in the gallery!
