Hello Crafty Friend

It's time for a new challenge at Time Out. Challenge #243 is up and running. It's a Photo Inspiration Challenge (see photo above). This looks just like myneat and pristine  craft space (insert wild guffawing here). For some reason, I really struggled with this one. I tried many things and none were to my liking. I wanted to go with a crafty theme, and my go to stamps were Paper Smooches I Heart Art, but nothing made me happy. In the end, I used my Stampwheel to create rainbow rays of colored pencils. It is so not my style, but here it is. I ran out of time and energy and I cried a little. LOL.

We are generously sponsored by Lawn Fawn. Challenge winner will receive a $25.00 gift voucher to spend at the Lawn Fawn Store. Our winner will also be invited to Guest Design with us for a future challenge.

Our Guest Designer this time is Heather Heroldt of Handmade by Heather. Heather is a frequent player at Time Out. Check our her blog for some wonderful inspiration.

Please head on over to the Time Out Challenge Blog to see the wonderful creations that Claire and the Design Team came up with to inspire you. Come play with us!

  1. Stephanie, the most wonderful thing I took from reading your script is 'I used my Stampwheel...' and look at the perfectly stamped, spaced, and colorful pencils you've created! LOve the circle that brings them all together! It's just darling - now dry those tears! x

  2. I like your fun rainbow of colored pencils, this is cute! I find that sometimes the cards of mine I like the least, others like the most! I'm with Michele, dry those tears... here's a big hug!

  4. I'm sorry the making of this colorful card made you cry, Stephanie. I love it and I should because we had the same idea just executed differently. Yours are beautifully stamped and mine are die cut.

  5. Hello my crafty friend! Turned out to be a beautiful card! Love the bright coloured pencils perfectly arranged in a rainbow shape. I totally understand your frustration when a card (or two) don’t meet your intended expectation. Hopefully you set those pieces aside for another day and another card. Thanks for sharing with us at Krafty Chicks Challenge.
