I am thrilled to be here today as Guest Designer for Can You Handle The Pressure where the challenge is always Anything Goes with the use of an embossing folder on your project. Each challenge has an optional twist, and today it is pastels.
I used kraft for my card base and stamped it with Versamark ink using SSS Gerbera Daisy Background Cling stamp. I then cut strips in different widths of pastel card stock scraps in a pastel version of rainbow colors. I taped them together, placed the panel in the SSS Floral Field Embossing Folder and ran it through through my Platinum Die Cutting and Embossing Machine. Once I cut the strip panel to fit the card base, I mounted it on fun foam and adhered it to the base. The sentiment is from CZ Design Happy Birthday Wafer Dies with the base cut from vellum and the sentiment cut from black glossy card stock.

What a pretty birthday card, I like your take on the floral theme. The pastel rainbow is a beautiful eye-catcher, and it makes the birthday sentiment stand out nicely. I also like how you continued the floral pattern on your card base using versa ink - I had to take a close look to solve this puzzle because at first I thought you used a different embossing folder for the background, and a different embossing technique.
