Hello Friend

It's time for a new challenge at Time Out. This time we have the photo inspiration above to spark your creativity. Our wonderful sponsor is Altenew. Challenge winner will receive a $20.00 gift voucher to the Altenew store.

Our guest designer for this challenge is Rahmat whose artistry is always brilliant and inspiring. Treat yourself to a visit to her blog. You will be so glad you did!

My card is a rather literal interpretation of the photo. To create it, I used the Barnwood Background Stamp from Concord & 9th to create a woodgrain background for my white embossed medallion from Papertrey Ink's Mehndi Medallion Mini Stamp Set (retired). I die cut that panel with a Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles die set. The cacti and sentiment are from Altenew's Be Strong Stamp Set. They are colored with Copics, and die cut from the Be Strong matching die set.

Please hop on over to the Time Out Challenge Blog to see the wonderful creations that the Design Team came up with to inspire you. Come play with us!

  1. Hey Stephanie! WOW!!!! This is a great take on the Time Out Challenge! I love everything about this card including your literal interpretation of the photo reference - sometimes the biggest challenge is to recreate something piece-by-piece with what we have in our stash!! This one is special!
    Take care - Rachelle : )

  2. This is amazing. I adore the frame you have the medallion on and that is superb embossing-so good...I see no little dots that are always there when I emboss! And what wonderful succulents-superb set to have and wow this is almost the photo!
