Now on to my card - nothing brings me more peace than the sea. I love to sit on the beach and watch the waves crashing and listen to the sounds of the sea's song to sooth my soul. It brings me joy and peace and happiness like nothing else. So for this challenge prompt, I chose to use this gorgeous WAVE layering stamp set from The Ton. I stamped the layers in three shades of blue on watercolor paper. I added a sentiment from PTI's Peaceful Garden, heat embossed it, popped it up and adhered it. I mounted the wave panel on SU Night Of Navy card stock, and my card was complete.
Please hop on over to the Time Out Challenge Blog to see the wonderful creations that Sue and our Design Team came up with to inspire you. Come play with us!

of course it had to be the sea for you! And I am with you on that! And you have stamped this perfectly-always scares me this stamp! But would love to be looking at the sea right now!
ReplyDeleteI saw this at TO Stephanie and thought it was amazing! I really couldn't work out how you'd done it but Sandie's answered that in her comment - I had no idea it was a stamp. Looks brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally hearing that ocean wave crashing onto the beach, Stephanie! OMG I love this set ... and it does bring me peace - this would have been perfection for CTS last week!

[I'm sad thinking that we would have been walking the shore of Lake Michigan - next year?]

Such a gorgeous card, Stephanie. I also love the beach...live right near it...and your card with its fabulous wave really spoke to me. Must check out that stamp!
ReplyDeleteSo peaceful! Love the colors. Thanks for joining us at The Sisterhood of Crafters challenges.
ReplyDeleteThis wave is so beautiful in those colours! Thinking of sitting next to the sea makes me reaceful just by thinking of times I did and how calming that is...sadly a bit too far and not "needed" so in better times this will be one of the first things to do! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteWow, this is amazing. I want to jump right into those waves! Great take on the Mood Board, thanks so much for playing along with us over at the Double D Challenge. Hope we see you back again soon!!

Absolutely LOVE this card Stephanie - what an amazing stamp set! I definitely get what you're saying about the sea. If I can't sleep I often put on a recording of waves breaking on the shore and find it very soothing :)
