I am into experimenting with foiling these days. I used a stencil from Brutis Monroe and applied transfer gel. After It dried, I applied a piece of purple foil, and ran It through my laminator. The result was wonderful except for a little glitch on the right. I still like the way it turned out. I used a sentiment from Happy Little Stampers Beautiful Butterflies to complete my card.
Please head over to the Time Out Challenge Blog and see what Angie and the marvelous DT has created to inspire you. Come play with us!

What a superb card and goodness I love the look, fab colours and I have no idea about foiling (more expensive I think!) but you had made it shine and I see no glitch!
ReplyDeleteStephanie, that wee little 'glitch' looks like two glasses 'clinking' to me - unexpected bit of celebration is what that is!!

ReplyDeleteAll the luscious shine is fantastic, Stephanie ... and what celebratory little images! Had to look hard for that glitch ... wouldn't even have spotted it if you hadn't mentioned it! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes what we see as our imperfections are what makes a card amazing and unique in other's eyes. I think this is a brilliant card, perfect for anyone's birthday. Thanks so much for joining us at Little Red Wagon this week!
