Happy Birthday Time Out!!

It's Birthday Time at Time Out ChallengesA celebration is indeed in order! Time Out was started four years ago by Sandie Munro of London Days, and Nonni Niskanen of Nonni's Handmade Cards. The challenge has grown steadily and beautifully over the years, and is thriving today under Sandie's leadership with Nonni still designing with the team. We are graced with such wonderful talent on our Design Team, with our entrants and our Guest Designer participants. This is truly a wonderful community that continues to expand and evolve. I have been part of the Time Out Design Team since October 2016, and I am so blessed and privileged to be part of this incredibly talented group of crafters who are as wonderful people as they are artists. It has been a lovely ride so far, and the journey continues.

Challenge #105 is an "Inspired By Words Challenge".

Our wonderful and generous sponsor is celebrating our birthday with us. Check out THIS post on the Concord & 9th Blog to see the details. They have provided the Time Out Design Team with some of their fabulous new product for us to create our birthday themed inspiration for you. THANK YOU Concord & 9th!!!

Our lucky challenge winner will receive a $25 gift voucher to use in the Concord & 9th store.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge and reminder is Claire. Claire has wicked good design and coloring skills. Check out her blog for a delightful and inspiring stroll.

Please head on over to the Time Out Challenge Blog and celebrate with us. Be inspired by Claire and the Design Team, and join us in a crafty birthday celebration! Thanks for coming, and have a wonderful day!

  1. I adore that background, you are rocking these backgrounds and how perfect it goes with this die. Fab idea to use the acetate for the sentiment so we don’t miss any of this beauty. It is wonderful to have you as part of team, your cards are such an inspiration and always such different and amazing styles. You rock hon x

  4. Gorgeous card, Stephanie. Love the multi colored background you created, and how you used vellum for your sentiment, so nothing was covered. Whenever I try to mix colors like that, I get a blog of brown, so I am really admiring your technique. Love the scalloped edges as well.

  6. Wow Stephanie, your multicoloured background is so vibrant and I like how you've used a scalloped die for the edges. The sentiment on vellum and the black backdrop for it really work well for this card and make it stand out. Thanks for sharing with us at the Watercooler Wednesday "Any Occasion" challenge this week.

  12. Wow, this is so pretty. The mix of colors is fabulous. Our daughter’s birthday is approaching very fast and we have made the plans to celebrate it in the Mermaid style at some local event space NYC. I think that such cards as the party favors would be best. I will give small candy boxes too along with them.
