Hello! It's Sunday and time for another AAA Cards Challenge! The theme of this week's game #47 is Spectacular Embossing.

Then head over the the AAA Cards Challenge Blog and join the design team by linking up and showcasing your spectacular embossed project! Here's my take on Game $47:
This card is incredibly simple, but it really gave me a hard time. I won't bore you with the details, but I am grateful to have completed it. I started out in a VERY different direction, and this is how I ended the journey.Supplies for this project:Paper ~ PTI Summer Sunrise, Vintage Cream LinenStamps ~ Penny Black Damask Pattern, PTI Counting My BlessingsInk ~ VersaMark, VersaFine Vintage Sepia, PTI Terracotta TileAccessories ~ PTI Counting My Blessings Die Set, Ranger Platinum EP, Timeless Twine, Ranger Muti Medium MatteThanks so much for visiting my blog today. Thank you for your comments - they make my day!
Love the definition at the start of your post - wondering if this is the beginning of a trend? Great embossing and the matching grateful sentiment looks fab.
ReplyDeleteIt may not be what you intended Stephanie but it's got the WOW factor!
ReplyDeleteFull of chic glamour and spectacular embossing! Sarah x
Wow! This is simply GOR-ge-ous, Stephanie. It might not have been your plan, but it is lovely result. It does not look simple to me at all! Superb job.
ReplyDeleteThat happens to me all the time - my cards almost never turn out the way I intended but that is part of the fun isn't it?! Alll that to say that I really like how it turned out - love the platinum embossing! Jill
ReplyDeleteStephanie *Waving wildly* My apologies for tardy commenting! Work and travel, travel and work (in quadruple x three doses), along with bike race officiating, being disorganized and trying to deal with the routine of school are ALL to blame! Your cards have received plenty of gazing and admiring, but time to put some words to the oohs and ahhs! Gallery walk...Applauding your perseverance in creating your gorgeous card! The colours, the embossing (I've given up on embossing because it causes me too much grrrr - not embossing folders though *grin*). Striking and eye-catching!
