When my card was selected as "The LEAD" for the Curtain Call Totally Tassel Challenge, I was over the moon! The LEAD wins a guest designer spot for a future Curtain Call challenge. When I saw the inspiration photo, I flipped! (Pun intended). I currently work as a school librarian, and Thursday is the beginning of my summer hiatus. At 12:30 PM on Thursday, I will slip into my flip flops and spend every moment I can at the beach, or "down the shore" as we say in New Jersey. This challenge is absolutely perfect for me right now! Here is my take on the Curtain Call Flip Flops Challenge:

ReplyDeleteSuper cute card Stephanie. Love the ocean and the pretty colors. The touch of sparkle looks great. Sweet flip-flops. Congrats on being our guest designer.
ReplyDeleteLove how you've used that stencil to created the beach background, brilliant! Many congrats on your well deserved guest spot.
ReplyDeleteYour BG and added sequins for sparkle is fabulous!! Great take on the insp. photo. Congrats on being our GDT :)
ReplyDeleteA huge congratulations on your lead and Guest designer post. You totally deserve it. Your card is wonderful--love the background you created for your flip flops. Being a southern california girl, I have many pairs of flip flops and pretty much live in them year round. I think you have inspired me to pull out my flip flop stamps and make something beachy.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome take on the flip flops challenge, Stephanie! It is a delight to have you join us as a guest for this summery themed challenge! Thanks so much!!
ReplyDeleteI adore your beachy card! It's so much fun!!!!

Congratulations on your guest designer gig! I love your beach scene with those stenciled waves, especially with the twinkle as the water meets the shore! Happy summer break to you!
ReplyDeleteAnother scrumptious card Stephanie and more stencilling!
ReplyDeleteLove the colours images and obviously the sparkle is a hit with me every time! Sarah x
Those dots going through the middle of your great background are just perfect. Makes me think of the suns sparkle on the water.
ReplyDeleteTime to catch up on your gallery of amazing cards...how did it get to be nearly the end of June already? First, super congrats on your GD spot; well-deserved, my friend, and WOW! What a marvelous beach-flip-flopped themed card you've created to dazzle and delight! Stenciling: spot-on awesome! And the flip flops are darling! By now, you must be well into enjoying your summer break. School is 'officially' finished tomorrow, but have plenty to do by way of 'catch up' next week...hours whenever I feel like. A bit of a 'tease' before my 'real' holidays begin. Can't wait...off to leave some love on your next card...
