It has been a while since I have played with paper and ink. Summer fun is grinding to a halt. We've had lots of sun and sand and adventure, but it's back to work tomorrow. I am happy to be spending a bit of time in creative mode today. I did not have either of the Dynamic Duos #67 challenge colors in my stash, so I used SU retired Cameo Coral and PTI's Summer Sunrise inks along with PTI Kraft ink as a neutral. Paper Smooches Calico set was calling me when I saw this color combination. I die cut the sentiment (PS die) and placed it into the negative cut on the stamped panel. I added some bling as a finishing touch, and there you have it. Thanks for stopping in today.
I love those stamped flowers!!
ReplyDeleteThanks for playing along at Dynamic Duos this week!
I can see the sun and sand inspired your card too Steph.. love how you used the Calico set and in-laid the sentiment too :0) Good to see you popping back in blogland before school starts back!!

Fabulous bold and bright prints. Such a fun background for the "thanks"!
ReplyDeleteThis is really pretty. Those big flowers are so bold. I have never seen that word die, and I must have it. Very cool how it extends over like that.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! The colors are gorgeous and I really like what you did with the die cut sentiment too!
