Uplifting & Supportive

This card cracks me up. My 9 year old son said "Moooooooooooooooooom"...
One of my shopping spree purchases yesterday at Scrapper's Cove was the "Support the Girls" acrylic stamp set by Clear Arts Stamps. I could not wait to use it. Every Saturday morning I get up, put on the kettle, and check the OCC blog for the new challenge. Love those OCC girls... This week is a color challenge - to use 2 shades of blue and a neutral. I was having quite a hard time deciding how to implement that, so I decided to visit some of my favorite blogs for a sketch to combine the OCC Challenge with. I chose Julee Tillman's VSLFL4 sketch for layout inspiration. I ended up with a finished product that was sooooooooooooo different from what I started out with, but sometimes that's the fun of it. I can't wait to send this card to my BFF!
Here is the recipe:

Stamps: Clear Art Stamps~Support the Girls
Paper: Shimmery White, Pacific Point, Baja Breeze, Urban Garden DSP
Ink: Baja Breeze, Pacific Point.
Accessories: Cuttlebug & With Love EF, Nestabilities, Stardust Stickles, Adhesive-backed Pearls, Dimensionals.
Thanks for stopping by!
