Smiles Are Always In Fashion

Time Out Challenge #113 is up and running. This time around, it's Inspired By Words. Here's the quote:

Guest Designer for this challenge is Amanda of Diamond Laine Designs,  She has an ecclectic style that is sure to inspire you. Treat yourself to a visit to her blog.

Our challenge sponsor is Sarah Gray. Sarah has her own line of fabulous, versatile and unique stencils available for purchase in her Folksy Store - check them out here. You can also see a selection of cards Sarah has made using her stencils on her Instagram account here.

I sell my stencils here

The winner of this challenge will receive their choice of 3 of Sarah's stencils.

To create my card, I went right to the Smile! stamp set from Happy Little Stampers. As I looked at each of the sentiments in the set, the one I used on my card called to me. The silhouette image from Happy Little Stampers Wish You Were Here stamp set immediately came to mind. I stamped it on a panel from my bits box that was made with Distress Oxide Inks and stamped with Full On Floral from CAS-ual Fridays. I thought it had a "mod", "retro" feel and went perfectly with the sentiment. I added a few sequins, and that was it!

Please head over to the Time Out Challenge Blog and see what Amanda and the Design Team have created to inspire you. Join us in the gallery to share your creation, and for a chance to win!
