Trick Or Treat

When I saw Freshly Made Sketch #207, I immediately thought of the Pretty Pink Posh Storybook 1 die that I recently purchased. It is shaped just like the sketch, though it has different dimensions.  I stamped a medley of Halloween themed images in the windows. The pumpkin, bat and spider are from an old SU set from 2007 that has long been retired. To add a little something else, I stamped some stars from Winnie & Walter's Big Bang Confetti with Tsukineko Delicata Golden Glitz  ink.  I cut and inlaid the sentiment from PTI's Tricky Trio, added a little twine and voila!  I love to make Halloween cards, and we have 4 "littles" in the family between 4 weeks and 4 years of age that I will be sending them to!
I am also linking this card to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Autumn Is In The Air.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. As always, your comments make me smile!

  2. What an absolutely charming card! I love how you created such a great little Halloween scene. Each section of your window pane is adorable and unique, yet all three images look perfect as a set. I also like how you tied everything together with the stars in the background. The twine adds a wonderful bit of texture and the "Trick or Treat" sentiment looks like it was made to go in that spot! This card made me smile and want to reach for the candy bowl! Thanks for sharing it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

  5. How sweet your Halloween card is, with those wonderfully cute images! I've been on the fence about this die, however...I think you've convinced me I 'need' it. So many possibilities!
