Halloween Tag

Sunday mornings, I usually run through all of the challenge blogs I visit to see what fantastic creations are out there. I really love the tag that wonderful and talented Kara Lynne Pogreba created this week Tag You're It Challenge #33, and I was inspired to play along. Here is Kara Lynne's tag:

The PP on the right reminded me of the tag image in PTI's Tiny Treats Halloween set. I stamped the tag image twice with VersaMark and embossed in black. I cut the circle out and colored the tiny candy corn image and also colored some random dots on the tag. I placed some ribbon on the left to give it some interest, and there you have it.

I am going to link up at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog where this week's challenge is "Wrap It Up".

This is another project that works well for both elements of the Friday Mash Up Challenge: Halloween and Ribbon, so I going to link up there again.

This week's Mashup Challenge:
  • Create a project for Halloween.
  • Create a project featuring some Ribbon.
  • or Mash it Up! and create a project for Halloween with some Ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping by today for a look. As always, I really appreciate your comments. It's great to have feedback. Have a wonderful day.

Crazy Halloween

It's time for a new AAA Cards Challenge. Game #51 is Halloween 4 Everyone - All styles.

I just love these Stampers Anonymous Crazy Birds that are everywhere. I've had them for a while, and finally inked them up for this challenge.  This is a bit of a departure from my style of late, but I really love the way this one turned out.

I am also linking up and playing with th following challenges:

Creepy Crawly Sparkly Trick Or Treat

Still in Halloween Mode - I pulled out my spider web EF,  Martha Stewart Spider Punch, black glitter paper, MFT Stitched Flag Dies, PTI Tricky Trio dies, Orange Stickles and Halloween twine... put them all together and this is what came out!

I am linking this card to the following challenges:

Cards In Envy - CREEPY CRAWLIES challenge.  Make an A2 card that is flat enough to fit in an envelope featuring things that are creepy & crawly--spiders, bugs, snakes etc. That spider is creepy and crawly!

Addicted TO CAS #74 - my sparkly spider and orange stickles fit the bill for this CAS creation.

Thanks of coming by today!!

Trick Or Treat

When I saw Freshly Made Sketch #207, I immediately thought of the Pretty Pink Posh Storybook 1 die that I recently purchased. It is shaped just like the sketch, though it has different dimensions.  I stamped a medley of Halloween themed images in the windows. The pumpkin, bat and spider are from an old SU set from 2007 that has long been retired. To add a little something else, I stamped some stars from Winnie & Walter's Big Bang Confetti with Tsukineko Delicata Golden Glitz  ink.  I cut and inlaid the sentiment from PTI's Tricky Trio, added a little twine and voila!  I love to make Halloween cards, and we have 4 "littles" in the family between 4 weeks and 4 years of age that I will be sending them to!
I am also linking this card to Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Autumn Is In The Air.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. As always, your comments make me smile!
